A Beach Story

It was the first day of summer and it was very hot. We asked our mom if we could go to the pool, but she said she would take us to the beach instead.
It was noon when we left. It was a long drive to the beach but it was all worth it. When we arrived, we waited a while for a parking spot. After we finally got one, we unloaded the car and found a spot. My mom put sunscreen on me, and after that I went to the water to play with my sister.
When we were splashing around in the water I saw a guy who had caught a fish with his own hands and I thought it was pretty cool.
After about an hour in the water, my sister and I got hungry, so we got out of the water and went with our mom. We told he were were hungry and she gave us a sandwich. My mom said that after we were done eating we had to wait thirty minutes to get back into the water. So after we were done eating we started to play in the sand. We made sand castles and dug big holes. We found sand crabs and starfish.
After that we went home and ate again. After all of this, I can say it was a good day!
